How we collect, use and protect the details you share with us through this website.

This policy explains what personal details Cosmora Cafe collects through this website, why we collect them, who handles them for us and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain language.
Who we are
Cosmora Cafe is a kulhad chai and snacks brand based at Plot 144/1, Goria, Jhajjar, Haryana 124142. We decide why and how your details are used, so under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) we are the data fiduciary for the details you send us.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into our forms (the home page consultation form, the franchise application form and the contact form):
- your name
- your mobile number
- your email address, if you give one
- your city or location
- the details of your enquiry or franchise application, such as the format you are interested in, your budget, whether you have a property, and any message you write
We do not run advertising trackers on this website, and we do not ask for payment details, Aadhaar or other identity numbers.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to call or message you about a franchise application, and to follow up on what you asked for. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for unrelated marketing without asking you first.
Who handles it for us
- Formspree delivers the form you submit to our team by email. Your details pass through their servers on the way.
- WhatsApp is used only if you choose to message us there. After you send a form, we offer a link that opens WhatsApp with your details filled in. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site. Your browser requests the fonts directly from Google, which can see your IP address.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and application details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. If you become a franchise partner, we keep the records the franchise agreement and the law require.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what details of yours we hold and how we use them (access)
- correct details that are wrong or out of date (correction)
- delete your details (erasure)
- take your consent back at any time, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you
To use any of these rights, or to raise a complaint, email hello@cosmoracafe.com. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
This website uses HTTPS, and form details are sent to our team over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information in the free-text message box.
Children
This website is for adults. Please do not send us details about anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
